Flood Warning (Upgraded) As Coastal Storm Drenches Hoboken

The updated forecast calls for another 1-2 inches of rain on Monday. The National Weather Service issued updated guidance Monday at 6 a.m.

"At 522 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
"Some locations that will experience flooding include...Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Yonkers, Paterson, Elizabeth, Stamford, Flatbush, New Rochelle, Flushing, Passaic, Bayonne,White Plains, Wayne, Mott Haven, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield, East Tremont and Hackensack."
