Man Charged With Killing Wife In Hudson County
A 32-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder after his wife was found with a stab wound in a Hudson County residence before noon.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ —Hudson County prosecutors have charged Peter Revelo, 32, of Bayonne with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife, 33, who was found deceased with a stab wound on Wednesday.
Just before noon, Bayonne police got a 911 call and responded to a home, where the found Mely Vanessa Tafoya Mendoza with an apparent stab sound to her torso. She was pronounced dead at the location at 105 North St. at approximately 12:36 p.m.
Besides murder, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit have charged Revelo with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
