Mini-Bookstore In Hoboken To Shut After Monday; Books Half Off
The uptown branch of Little City Books, inside Bwe Kafe, will close for good after Monday. Customers have been heading there for deals.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The small uptown branch of Little City Books, the Hoboken independent bookstore with two locations in town, will close after Monday and is offering books at half off, the owners said in a newsletter.
However, the larger flagship Little City Books store at 100 Bloomfield St. will remain open.

"Good news bad news," said a note in the newsletter on Thursday. "The GOOD news is that EVERYTHING in the uptown shop is now 50 percent off. The BAD news is that Monday will be our last day in bwe, much as we love and adore them completely we need to focus on our downtown shop, which is busy busy busy."

They added, "That means, for example, a Little Golden Book will be $3! (We know you love them, they are all over the floor every time we turn around.) A lot of great books up there so go shop!"
The uptown store was bustling on Thursday but still had plenty of books left for the buying.
