New Espresso Bar Coming, Melissa Gorga To Visit: 5 Hoboken Restaurant Updates

HOBOKEN, NJ — Several restaurants in Hoboken have opened or expanded their offerings in the last two weeks, while one has closed.

Here is a rundown of recent restaurant changes:

Three Openings

1. Kikilu Gelato at 900 Garden St., which opened in July, said it will try out its espresso offerings starting this Friday morning.

"We’re doing a soft opening this Friday for our espresso bar. We’re opening from 8 a.m. to noon.," they told Patch. "We will most likely open full time next week, pending feedback on menu and process." Find out more about the shop here.

2. The Lola, a new restaurant at 102 Sinatra Drive, is offering a brunch party Saturday to celebrate its opening, with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga. Find out more here.

3. 30 Burgers, a chain restaurant, has opened its newest outpost near the Hoboken train station (see photo above). The restaurant opened for business on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Anniversaries

It's not easy opening during a pandemic! But the Hive Market, a coffee and pastry shop with a play space for kids, just celebrated its two-year anniversary in Hoboken. Closings

From the Heart, a popular dim sum restaurant at 324 Washington St., closed recently. It will be replaced by a vegan burger joint, Hoboken Girl reported.
