New Hoboken Business To Replace Old D&V Barbershop On Washington Street

The longtime D&V Barbershop in Hoboken moved next door, and its old location will welcome a new business.

HOBOKEN, NJ — After the longtime D&V Barbershop on Washington Street in Hoboken moved next door last year, there was some question of who'd move into their old spot at 1032 Washington St.

Signage posted in the window this week has revealed the upcoming tenant: Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar.

Moxie says they'll provide "Unisex cuts, Goldwell color, extensions, memberships, weddings and more."

Last year, Jatin and Latika Patel retired from Town Smoke & News at 1034 Washington St. (known for its old Optimo Cigar sign). The barbershop next door, which had opened in 1966, moved in.
