Yes I Do!, the custom invitations and gifts shop at 312 Washington Street now has a new look after undergoing an that begin in late October and extended into mid November.

The new layout has more open space, with new tables and refurbished display cabinets. The cash register counter, which Battaglia had inherited from the previous tenants, has been moved. The store also has a newly exposed interior brick wall and a new grey and purple color scheme, a change from the previous green and yellow.
Battaglia, her employees, family and friends did all of the renovation work themselves, with the lone exception of changing the previous carpeted floors into wood.

Battaglia said the customer response has been positive.
"We are very happy with the feedback and we too are enjoying the new store," she said.
She added that a benefit of the new layout would be that she plans to introduce new products in time for the holiday season.
Coming soon: an Indian restaurant comes to Washington Street, and a new kids gym opens in the Monroe Center.
