Now It's Easier To Get Pizza At Hoboken Shop Reviewed By Dave Portnoy

Dave Portnoy's Barstool Pizza added a delivery service recently, and gave an update on their indoor dining.

HOBOKEN, NJ — When "Barstool Pizza" reviewer Dave Portnoy gave a high rating of 8.2 to a relatively new pizza shop on Hoboken's west side in June, he predicted it could increase demand, as his reviews often do.

"This is great pizza, it's crunchy, it's thin, it's tasty, it's a [expletive] great pizza," he said. "I don't know how they're going to keep up with demand. It's like a living room in there."

But now, the Pizza Shop by Flour, located at 500 Grand St., is offering delivery — so you don't have to wait at the store.

As of six weeks ago, they began offering on-line delivery ordering for eight varieties of pie, beverages including Italian sodas, and even t-shirts.

Located in the former Delfino's space, the shop offers unique toppings such as foraged feast mushrooms, arugula, little neck clams. You can order the pies here.

What About Indoor Dining?

As for indoor dining, the owners told Patch on Tuesday that while there is a restaurant taking shape attached to the Pizza Shop, the Pizza Shop will remain a takeout and delivery operation. The restaurant is a different entity.

"We are opening a restaurant called Flour that will be available for indoor dining hopefully by the end of January, early February," they said.
