Uber will team up with Liberty Humane Society on Oct. 29 to deliver 15 minutes of playtime with a kitten in Hoboken and Jersey City.

Uber is gaining purchase as a transportation option for humans in Hoboken… but how about kittens?
On Thursday, Oct. 29, Uber will team up with the Liberty Humane Society to deliver adoptable kittens to home and office locations in Hoboken and Jersey City for up to 15 minutes of “playtime.”
If all goes well, people can apply to adopt the kittens on the spot, Uber representatives stated.

A $30 “snuggle fee” will go to support the Liberty Humane Society, which serves both municipalities.

“We are paws-itively delighted to be working with the Liberty Humane Society,” said Ana Mahony, General Manager for Uber New Jersey, “It’s great to be able to connect cat lovers with adoptable kittens right in our own community.”
