A PSE&G contractor performing milling work at 14th and Bloomfield Streets ruptured a water main on Friday night, creating traffic snarls across northern Hoboken, according to city officials.

As a result, 14th Street is closed to traffic between Washington Street and Park Avenue, and Bloomfield Street is closed between 13th Street and 14th Street.

“United Water is on the way to the location to make repairs,” Hoboken city officials reported via Nixle at 6:47 p.m.
