Will Trader Joe’s finally be coming to Hoboken?

A Hoboken411 report stated that the grocery chain is signed on as a lessee to the mixed use development complex at the corner of Willow and 14th.

According to HMag.com, the store has approval from the Hoboken Zoning Board, but it still awaiting City Council approval of potential parking and traffic impacts.

“I personally would welcome one, even with our existing pedestrian supermarkets,” wrote one online commenter on Reddit.com. “The Hoboken Chamber of Commerce and City Hall needs to do more to attract a real supermarket here. I hope the rumors prove true.”
