Secret Is Spilled About Woman-Owned Corner Cafe Opening In Hoboken

Here's the tea: A woman-owned coffee shop in downtown Hoboken will be opening its second location uptown in a spacious corner spot.

HOBOKEN, NJ — This week, Mojo Coffee Company, a popular coffee spot on Willow Avenue near Hoboken's hospital, let fans in on a secret — they're developing a former dry cleaners uptown into their second location.

Work has progressed quickly at the spacious corner store at 801 Bloomfield St, a block off the main drag of Washington Street.

On Wednesday, the woman-owned business posted a jaunty video (see below) of the stages of transformation of the second shop, with Hall & Oates playing as a backdrop (perhaps a sign that oat milk will be on the menu?)

"Love to see female bosses thriving," said a comment from the Hive, a woman-owned coffee shop a few blocks away at Tenth and Park.

For now, you can check out the coffee, baked goods, and other items at Mojo's location at 230 Willow Ave., which has outdoor seating.
