The Mother of All Deals: Scooters, Schnitzel and Thrifty Shopping

This week we've got some good tips on deals for thrifty shopping, chic skirts, schnitzel, scooters and rugs flying off the shelves.

The Hoboken University Medical Center's at 536 Garden Street is holding a 2 for 1 sale on many of its donated items. Stop by, shop and contribute financially to a good cause. Also consider donating some of your own extra clothing, household items and other merchandise.

, the New York based chain boutique with a location at 1216 Washington Street, has a sale rack with dresses, skirts and blouses saving 20%.

, the authentic German restaurant and pub at 1036 Washington Street, has a good lunch special, offering $7 cheeseburgers or steak sandwiches. They also have a Monday deal for half off lunch and dinner menu items. Stick around also for the Helmer's happy hour, Monday through Friday 3-7pm and again at 10pm-midnight.

For the kids, at 602 Washington Street has just placed on its shelves a new shipment of self-propelled scooters. They are also still selling gift baskets for Easter, starting at $6 plus however many toys and treats you want to include at regular price. They will then wrap and decorate the basket on the house.

As reported last week, , located at 722 Washington Street, is still liquidating inventory as part of its closing sale. Find a nice rug for 75% off, as well as plenty of other decorative items for your home. Tribal has a sign outside saying "everything must go," so give them a hand.
