UPDATED: 3 Arrested After 'Street Fight' Near Hoboken McDonald's

Two teens and a 26-year-old man were arrested after a man was left unconscious.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken Police Chief Ken Ferrante said Monday that following an assault outside a Hoboken McDonald's on Sunday night, a man was left unconscious and three others were arrested.

On Tuesday, police released the following information:

Hoboken Police were dispatched to the intersection of Third and Washington streets around 11:52 p.m. Sunday on a report of a street fight. Upon arrival, Police Officer Enrico Gnassi observed an unconscious male being carried by a group of three.

Shortly afterward, police officers Marc Aurigemma and Marco Grossmann arrived. They placed the unconscious man in the back seat of the radio car and transported him to Hoboken University Medical Center. He was discharged a few hours later.

Police officers Ryan Houghton and Bret Globke also responded. They said that at the scene, they saw a juvenile punch another man. He was immediately placed into police custody and a search incident to his arrest "yielded a small grinder containing believed to be marijuana."

Following an on-scene investigation, they arrested two adult men and a teen. The charges were:

Walid Hamed, 26, from Brooklyn, endangering an injured victim, aggravated assault, and hindering

Mark Lewis, 19, from Englewood, aggravated assault

A 17-year-old male from Englewood, charged with juvenile delinquency simple assault, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia

The juvenile was released to his parent. Lewis was released on a summons with a court date. Hamed’s charges were placed on a summons and he was released with a court date.

Defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
