Three-Day 14C Art Fair Kicks Off In Jersey City, Including Galleries From Around NJ
Art Fair 14C in Jersey City is "an answer to the question of how to help people in the visual arts make a living," said organizers.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — While Jersey City's recent art studio tours were unfortunately scheduled during Hurricane Ian, art lovers have another chance to see art in the Garden State's second largest city this weekend, in an event that organizers said is the largest visual arts event in New Jersey.
The organizers of the fourth annual Art Fair 14C said Thursday that their plans won't be changing because of possible rain in the forecast (and the storm prediction for the area has been downgraded).
The exhibits are open this Friday through Sunday, from 1-7 Friday (with guided tours), 12-5 Saturday and 12-6 Sunday.

“Art Fair 14C was created as an answer to the question of how to help people in the visual arts
make a living. Art fairs produce sales and provide connections and opportunities beyond just
selling art,” said Executive Director of Art Fair 14C Robinson Holloway. "The fair
has grown in size and quality every year, and for the 4th Edition we have thousands of
incredible works of art from all genres, and at all price points."
Since the non-profit started, participating artists have sold over $1 million in art at the event, organizers say. The event is New Jersey’s only international art fair.
Jersey City-based artist Amy Wilson noted, of the Armory, "The space is enormous, and they don’t have events of this scale there too often…If they can make the armory work and that becomes a viable space to have large events again, that would be a real plus for this city."
She added, "The list of exhibitors is a mix of individual artists showing their own work, and galleries/non-profits bringing a selection of the artists they work with. What’s nice about fairs is that you can see a bunch of exhibitors all at one place, so for instance while I am a big fan of Guttenberg Arts, how often do I really get over to Guttenberg these days?"
