HOBOKEN, NJ — Several new restaurants have announced their openings in Hoboken in recent months, and others are coming soon. Here are five restaurants that are coming to the mile-square city:

Toast Bowl — Signage appeared last week in the window of 328 Washington St., displaying a photo of healthy bowls and sandwiches and the words "Toast x Bowl." The new eatery will replace Cucina Saporito, which posted a long note in the window earlier this year thanking their customers. See photo above.

Green Garden — The longtime Chinese restaurant at 1202 Washington St. closed for repairs and renovations last year. A worker said last week that it will reopen in the next few weeks.

Flour Hoboken — The companion restaurant to The Pizza Shop at 500 Jefferson St. will hold a soft opening later this week, and is taking limited reservations. Take a look at their scrumptious dishes here. (And read about The Pizza Shop's one-bite pizza review here.)

Alessio's at the Northwest Park — The popular Italian cafe Alessio's, located at the corner of Park Avenue and Sixth Street, has announced several new locations to come, including at the Northwest Resiliency Park in Hoboken and a spot in Jersey City. Find out more here.

Dumbo Market — Well, it may not be a restaurant, but you'll likely be able to snag some fresh food for lunch or dinner. 2nd Ward Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher has shared the news in her newsletter in March that the Brooklyn-based grocery market will open a location at 1425 Washington St. "Dumbo Market has submitted their application to the Hoboken Zoning Office! It is officially in process! They will need to go before the Hoboken Planning Board, a process that will take a few months. And residents will be able to attend and show support and express any concerns – mostly what I have heard is their potential impact on traffic/pedestrian in the area and maybe the need for better traffic controls at 15th and Washington. Hopefully they will be able to open before the end of the year!"
