Two Hoboken Men Arrested On Heroin Charge For Second Time In 7 Weeks
Police say they saw one man sell suspected heroin to another in Hoboken, 7 weeks after the two were arrested on heroin sale charges.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Two Hoboken men were charged with heroin possession Thursday, just seven weeks after they were both arrested in town for heroin sales, police said Friday.
Police said that Frederick Ladson, 52, and Albert Stone, 36 were arrested at Third and Harrison streets around 6:40 p.m. Thursday.
Police said that they observed Ladson sell a suspected controlled dangerous substance to Stone.

Then, Det. Sgt. William Collins and Detectives Ryan Houghton, Fabian Quinones, and Connor Milne stopped Ladson at third and Harrison streets, police said.
He had 37 wax folds believed to contain heroin and nine small plastic bags containing white rock like substance believed to be cocaine, police said, as well as cash.

Officers Anthony Olivera and Joseph Spano stopped Stone in the area of Third and Jackson streets, they said. He was found to have nine wax folds believed to contain heroin, police said.
Ladson was charged with sale of heroin, sale of heroin within 500 feet of public housing, sale of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin within 500 feet of public housing, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine within 500 feet of public housing, and within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
Stone was charged with possession of heroin.
Both men were taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
