HOBOKEN, NJ — Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson spent a second day filming their new movie, "The Kill Room," in Hoboken on Friday, leaving the set at 4 p.m. to get dinner.

The space inside Field Colony, an art gallery and cowork space in Hoboken, was small enough that at one point, Thurman stepped outside for a wardrobe change.

Trucks and a craft services tent had arrived Friday morning on Tenth Street, in a densely populated residential area.

The movie is listed as filming in Hoboken and Jersey City throughout May.

The movie has been described as both an action film and a comedy: "A hitman, his boss, an art dealer and a money-laundering scheme that accidentally turns the assassin into an overnight avant-garde sensation, one that forces her to play the art world against the underworld."
