UPDATE: No Injuries During Rooftop Fire at Hoboken Senior Housing Complex
The blaze was the second fire at a low-income apartment building in Hoboken this month.

A two-alarm fire at a Hoboken senior citizen apartment building on Saturday evening caused thick, black smoke that was seen from Manhattan, but reportedly caused no injuries.
The blaze took place near the rooftop of the Marian Towers building on First Street, a low-income housing complex with 154 units.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but authorities told ABC 7 that building materials and an air conditioning unit were involved.

Residents of the 12th floor were unable to return to their apartments because of water damage, the report stated.
Hoboken firefighters extinguished the flames within two hours, according to the Hudson Reporter.
