Want To Work At A Cannabis Dispensary? Jersey City Job Fair Planned

Be a budtender, manager, or contractor. Cannabis dispensaries will attend a Jersey City job fair and 5 scholarships will be offered.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — As more cannabis dispensaries win approval in Jersey City and Hoboken, the businesses are looking to hire staff, and one organization is even offering scholarships to get a license.

This coming Thursday, Jersey City's Office of Diversity & Inclusion is joining several dispensaries and cannabis-product shops for a job fair. They'll discuss employment opportunities and requirements.

Available positions will include dispensary managers, budtenders, delivery drivers, subcontractors who will help build the shops, and more.

Blossom Dispensary, Butler & Baldwin, Decades Dispensary, Garden Greenz LLC, The Cannabis Place, The Leaf Joint, Uforia LLC, Downtown Flower, and ALB Labs are participating.

Five GFI Professional Skilled Cannabis Scholarships will be awarded, organizers say.
