Zara Opens ‘Flagship’ Store At Newport Centre Mall In Hudson County, NJ

JERSEY CITY, NJ — International fashion and accessories company Zara has officially opened a 20,000 square foot “flagship” location at the Simon’s Newport Centre mall in Jersey City, Simon’s announced last week.

The new store, located on level two of the mall, will carry a full line of fashion-forward merchandise for men, women and children, according to a company news release.

Zara currently has more than 250 locations globally, with more than 60 in the U.S., the release stated.

“We are thrilled to introduce our shoppers to the brand new Zara as part of our ongoing commitment to bring exciting market exclusive retail and dining concepts to Newport Centre,” said Jill Daniel, director of marketing and business development.

Besides Zara, Newport Centre have welcomed several other recent additions to its roster. In July, British retail brand The Body Shop opened on Level One, while at the end of September, GNC re-opened in larger digs.

In the coming months, Newport Centre shoppers can look forward to the December opening of e.l.f Cosmetics and Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, which is scheduled to open in early 2017, the mall stated.
