9/11 Remembrance At Holmdel Touchstone
Holmdel welcomes residents to contemplate the Sept. 11, 2001 tragedy on Sunday and to place remembrances at the township memorial.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Mayor Greg Buontempo and the Township Committee invite all residents to visit the Holmdel Township 9/11 Memorial on Sunday, Sept. 11 to honor the victims of the 2001 events in their own way in a moment of quiet reflection.
On the morning of Sept. 11, the township will position a table near the touchstone memorial at the township building where flowers, candles and American flags will be placed for patrons to display around the “Upturned Hands” sculpture in an act of remembrance, reflection, and respect to those our community lost.
The table, flowers, and flags will remain at the site for the duration of the day, according to information from the township.
