Car, A Mercedes, Drives Into Building In Holmdel

HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel police posted these photos of a car that drove into a building at 717 North Beers Street Wednesday.

Nobody was injured, either in the car or the building, when the SUV hit the building near an office window, said Holmdel police. The airbags deployed due to the force of impact.

717 North Beers Street was temporarily evacuated, but was ultimately deemed safe to re-enter after inspection by Holmdel Construction and the Holmdel Fire Department.
