DWI Checkpoint In Union Beach Friday Night, Nov. 9

Police will be back at the Holy Family church Friday night, pulling cars into the church parking lot off Hwy. 36 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

UNION BEACH, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI task force will conduct a DWI checkpoint this Friday night, Nov. 9, off Hwy. 36 in Union Beach.

The checkpoint will be run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday on Rt. 36.

Task force members and officers from the Union Beach police department will pull vehicles from the westbound lanes into the Holy Family Church parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, task force coordinator.

They are looking for drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
