Fatal Motorcycle Accident On Parkway In Holmdel
Breaking: The accident occurred at 12:40 p.m. Sunday right across from the PNC Bank Arts Center, police said.
HOLMDEL, NJ — There was a fatal motorcycle accident Sunday on the Garden State Parkway in Holmdel, State Police in the Holmdel barracks confirmed to Patch.
The accident occurred at 12:40 p.m. Sunday at mile marker 116, right across from the PNC Bank Arts Center, police said. The accident involved three vehicles: Two motorcycles and a car.
Police did not released details of how the accident occurred, but said one of the motorcyclists was severely injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The man who died has been identified by NJ.com as Devin Flores, 38, of Carlstadt. He was thrown from the motorbike.

The other biker, also a man, was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries, said police. The driver of the car did not appear to be injured.
Witnesses on the Parkway at the time reported seeing both motorcyclists speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.

As of 2 p.m., the left lane remains shut down on the Parkway through Holmdel.
