The Hazlet Hurricanes won their fifth game on Thursday, dominating Matawan-Aberdeen Middle School in a 7-1 win. Louis DiLaurenzio scored 3 goals. Nick Benoit (2) and Ryan Eusebi (1) combined for 3 goals while controlling the middle of the field. Gavin Toth added the final goal. Great defensive play by A.J. Erven and Dan Draganoff helped to keep Matawan-Aberdeen to only one goal.
Hazlet hopes to continue their winning streak with tough games against Satz (Holmdel), Long Branch and Ocean Township Middle Schools next week.
