Hazlet Traffic Alert: Crews Working On Union Avenue Tuesday And Wednesday

Crews will mill Union Avenue on Tuesday, to prepare for paving on Wednesday, Hazlet police said.

The milling work, between Route 36 and Middle Road, was expected to begin around 8 a.m. and be complete Tuesday afternoon. Paving work is scheduled to start Wednesday.

Police said the work will not affect access to Hazlet Middle School, but they are recommending parents use Route 36 to get to the school. Police suggest other drivers avoid the area and use alternate routes.
