Holmdel Creative Arts Association (HCAA) begins its 2013 Membership Drive with high hopes – come join in the excitement

  The excitement was evident at the Holmdel Creative Arts Association’s (HCAA) first meeting of the new school year.  The parent support group, committed to supporting the arts in all four of Holmdel’s schools, met to discuss plans to make this school season even better than lasts.   

  Last year, HCAA donated many gifts including $7,500 toward a major lighting upgrade for the High School Performing Arts Center, stained glass for the High School art program, and the highly effective elmo visual presenter for the Village school, plus equipment and supplies for the Arts.  In addition to gifts, the group is proud to recognize student accomplishments by granting scholarships to graduating seniors in the amount of $4,700.  In total gifts surpassed $15,000, making last year hard to top, but the group is optimistic. 

  HCAA raises funds through Membership dues, an Ad journal, Dedication Plates on the HS auditorium seats and fund raising at the High School, Satz and Indian Hill School productions and their popular “got talent” tee shirts.  Their meetings are the first Monday of the month at the High School upper conference room and they welcome any parent with a passion for arts to attend the meetings. 

  It’s clear that not every parent can volunteer their time, but HCAA still needs your help.  Please support your creative children by becoming an HCAA member.   The membership levels are:  Broadway Sponsor $100, Off Broadway Sponsor $50, Patron Member $25 and Supporting Member $10.
