With plenty of sunshine and good cheer, the Cub Scouts of Packs 131 and 331 helped improve and beautify the gardens of Holmdel Village School on 9/21/13. As part of their community service, the scouts and their parents completed another of their "Adopt A School" activities by weeding the flower beds of the outer and inner gardens of Village School and then planting new flowers and bulbs. Many thanks go to each of them for their time and efforts. And huge thanks as well as to our great supporters at the Bayshore Greenhouses and Garden Supplies and to Bud and Carol Unanski who got us the great mums that are now blooming around the school. The mums will greet Village students everyday this fall, and the bulbs that were carefully planted by our scouts will appear next spring as new flowers.
