The Holmdel Youth Activities Association (HYAA) has moved to Town Hall, 4 Crawfords Corner Rd. The organization is renting the large first floor office that was formerly used by the Board of Health and Registrar. (The township is now partnering with the county Board of Health for health services, and Township Registrar Lois Morfit is providing Registrar services from an office down the hall.)
The HYAA window opened on Jan. 3. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The new phone number is 732-945-8016. A staff member is on duty to help process paperwork and handle questions.
HYAA runs youth recreational baseball, softball, basketball, wrestling and soccer with the help of parent volunteers. It has been a fixture in Holmdel since 1970. The President is Gerald DiMaso. For more info about HYAA, visit their website.
