Raritan High School Reports 2 Positive COVID-19 Cases

HAZLET, NJ - Two individuals associated with Raritan High School have tested positive for COVID-19, according to district officials. The two cases are confirmed to be linked.

In a Monday afternoon letter sent to parents, the district informed that contact tracing has already been completed and all close contacts have been notified to quarantine immediately. Sanitization of all exposed areas in the building is underway.

“We understand the level of concern regarding COVID-19 and assure you that Hazlet will continue to prioritize the health and safety of all students and staff,” the letter reads.

Another positive case was reported at the high school earlier this month.

Over the weekend, the district posted a message on its website alerting parents that a contractor associated with Lillian Drive School tested positive for COVID-19.
