Saint John Vianney Sophomore Commits to Penn State

Saint John Vianney High School sophomore Kristen Politz of  Morganville, verbally committed to compete for the Women’s Gymnastics Team at Penn State University on a full athletic scholarship. Kristen has been training since the age of 4 at Rebound Gymnastics in Marlboro.

Kristen trains year round approximately 35 hours a week on Rebound's Level 10 Junior Olympic team.  She has competed at Level 10 Nationals for the past three years.  Kristen competes as an All-Around gymnast, which includes vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. Her favorite event is the floor exercise.

Outside of gymnastics and school, Kristen enjoys spending time with family and friends. Kristen’s brother Michael is also an SJV graduate, class of 2011. He is studying Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
