The New Jersey Lions, a local Minor League Football franchise, overpowered the Tri-State Bulldogs in a 16-9 victory on Saturday at their home field behind St. John Vianney High School. The Lions are 4 and 2 so far in the 2011 season. Their next match is in Belleville against the Spartans on August 27.

Their next home game will be against the Philadelphia Panthers. Game starts at 7:00 pm at St. John Vianney High School.
