Come learn about the Oceanport racetrack's illustrious past and get a glimpse of what's in store.

Did you know that one of most famous box holders was President Ulysses S. Grant or that the infamous Boss Tweed sponsored purses?
Learn more about the racetrack's Gilded Age heydey, its 53-year hiatus due to anti-gambling legislation and current plans in the works under new management on Wednesday at Long Branch City Hall.
John Heims, director of media relations at Monmouth Park, will present "Monmouth Park: The Shore's Greatest Stretch Since 1870" at 7:30 p.m. on April 25.
