What is That?
The mystery is revealed about a large trailer parked on a field near the Satz School.
Update: On the April 25, the Board of Education approved to permit the location of a replacement trailer on the board property from the Holmdel Football Association.
Recently a huge beige box on wheels with "Campus Ministry" signage appeared on the edge of the William R. Satz school playing fields.
Turns out the trailer were purchased by the Holmdel Football Association (HFA) for the purpose of eventually storing lights and football equipment, but most of all to provide a safe place for kids to escape to in case of a lightning storm.

According to HFA President Michael Tedeschi, the big trailer is awaiting Board of Education approval. Then they can fix it up, repaint it the Hornet blue, and move it into the nearby gated compound.
"Football, you practice even in the rain," said Tedeschi. "If lightning moved in quickly, you'd have nowhere to put the kids. We practice in August, and the schools are not open. It happened a couple of years ago. We had to try to fit all the kids in cars," he said.

The two trailers were purchased with $3,000 in donated funds by two community members who wish to remain anonymous. They provide a 24 x 24 foot space, which is double the 8 x 37 foot trailer that formerly used by the footballers. The trailers can accomodate up to 75 people -- even with shoulder pads on.
