5 Things You Need to Know About Prom

It's Friday. But it's really more than that.

It's Prom!

Tonight, Hopatcong High School students will dress up for the time of their young lives at the Birchwood Manor. Here are 5 Things You Need to Know About Prom 2011.

1. You Need to Know Where to Take Prom Photos: Listen, the gazebo isn't the only place for a photo op.
2. You Need to Know When to Arrive: Students must be at the high school at 5:45 p.m. to take coach buses to the Birchwood Manor.
3. You Need to Know When Dancing Commences: Prom—in all its shiny, gaudy glory—starts at 7 p.m.
4. You Need to Know When It Ends: The students will pile back onto the buses at midnight.
5. You Need to Know It's Not Really Over: The students will be treated to Project Prom when they arrive at the high school. With tents and prizes, they'll cram into the gym until 5 a.m., living it up.
