Arrestee's Strange Cellblock Behavior Leads To Lewdness Charge: Sparta Police
The man was taken to the hospital, police said.

SPARTA, NJ — A arrestees bizarre behavior at Sparta police headquarters lead to lewdness and harassment charges, Sparta police said in a statement.
Jose Lewis, 45, of Sparta, was brought into police headquarters for allegedly violating a temporary restraining order. While sitting on a bench in the cellblock room, police say Lewis undressed totally and "began fondling himself."
Lewis refused officer's attempts to place a blanket on him. Eventually he reclothed after officers agreed to take him to a nearby hospital.

Officers transported him to the hospital and once he was discharged, Lewis was taken to Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility. He was charged with contempt of the court for the restraining order violation, and lewdness and harassment for the events in the police station.
