I used to dance in a troupe, a long time ago before I had my last child, then life got in the way but I always wanted to get back to it... and I did. A little over 5 years ago I started teaching belly dancing again at Ronnie's Dance Studio in Hopatcong (973-398-0098) on Maxim Drive, and I loved it so much I actually founded the "Ultra Goddess" Belly Dance Team and we're up to about 9 routines including veil routines, a routine to a Waltz, Bhangra, and Middle Eastern/Modern belly dance routines. Our classes are on Tuesday nights 6:40 - 7:40 p.m. Ultra Goddess practice starts at 6:00 and then you can come to the class for free... AND NEW... Bellywood Dancing on Friday nights from 6:40 - 7:40 p.m. Don't know what it is, that's okay, this Friday, Aug 23 we're having a FREE intro night from 6:40 - 7:40 p.m. (or more if everyone's having a blast), free use of hip scarves, bring yourself and friends and your enthusiasm. This is a new dance for us. It's the best of belly dancing fused with the best and easiest of Bollywood. Beginners always welcome, you have to start somewhere, right?
