Blog Debut: Fishing, Hunting and Boating

This is a new blog covering the Fresh and Saltwater Fishing and Hunting scene in NJ and Lake Ontario located in NY State. On the fishing side I will try and cover upcoming shows, events, contests, and fishing conditions as well as advice on boating. In addition fishing regulations and places to fish will also be hot topics. Hunting coverage will cover seasons and tactics as well as opening dates and events.

We will also cover clothing, boots and shoes, and other apparel. Fishing reports will cover Fresh and salt water as well as Lake Ontario.

A Shad section will update on a daily basis during Shad season, and coverage of the Delaware River will be updated on a weekly basis.

On the local fishing scene big lakes, small lakes and mud ponds will all get their due coverage. Stream and river fishing will cover stocking dates, fishing condition as well as water levels. Salt water will kick off with the winter boat fishing for Cod and Pollack, and other species as their seasons open.
