Free Hospital Careers Seminar this Month

Learn about the variety of careers available in a hospital setting at a free forum on May 23rd.

A free seminar about Hospital Professions will be offered to teens and adults on Thursday, May 23rd, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency.   Tom Senker, President of the Newton Medical Center, will be joined by Registered Nurse and Diabetes Educator Judy Beardsley, Hospital Unit Coordinator Amanda Petersen, and Radiologic Technologist Laura De Luca for a discussion of their background, education and the tasks that accompany their unique professions.  Questions from the audience will be welcome.  “Becoming You:  Hospital Professions” will touch on all aspects of working in a hospital setting, from patient care to diagnostic to administrative positions.  The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required.  Interested participants are encouraged to call 973-940-3500 to register.
