OK so we made it through another gloomy winter and spring is almost upon us, what are your plans for the fishing season??? New Jersey has so many exciting options and potential adventures for the Fresh and Salt Water angler that it seems like there are never enough days in the week to get my entire fishing plans in. Trout season, Shad, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Catfish, Flounder, Stripers, Blues, and Weakfish, just to name a few. What’s your favorite???
If you own a boat have you acquired the new state mandated license for driving your craft? Have you gone over the boat and trailer making sure all safety equipment is functional?? Do you have enough life jackets for all that will be aboard??? What about a Whistle or horn, and all the other equipment necessary for a safe outing??? Do you teach everyone on the boat how things work if you should become disabled?? It could be the difference of life and death!!!
Everyone should also wear a life jacket when underway, I even wear one all the time when in a small craft, just to be on the safe side. You never know when you will take a dip, so it’s better to be safe then sorry!!!

I am rebuilding a boat which has been completely stripped down to bare fiberglass. I will be doing Fiberglass work, decking, carpeting, building storage areas and a complete electric system build.
