Local FREE class for parents and caregivers of children with behavioral or emotional challenges

My husband and I are back for our second time of teaching the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Basics course.  When we first took this course as parents of a child with a brain disorder, we had no idea what we were getting into.  It took only our first session to know what a difference this class could make!  There was no question at the conclusion of the course that we wanted to become trained instructors and to help other parents facing the struggles, stigma and confusion of working with the school, with your own friends and families, and with medical providers.

This 7 week course is FREE! We are thrilled to announce the course will be held right in Hopatcong this season, as we taught in Newton previously.  Please read the attached flyer and let us know if you have ANY questions!!  Spaces are limited and we strongly encourage both parents to register whenever possible.
