Work Connections Program Launched at Project Self-Sufficiency

Project Self-Sufficiency unveils a new training program for single parents and displaced homemakers.

Representatives from the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce development recently joined Project Self-Sufficiency board and staff members to unveil the agency's new "Work Connections" program.  The new initiative will assist single parents and displaced homemakers with training, job placement and support services.  Commissioner Harold J. Wirths was joined by Sussex County Freeholders Richard Vohden and Parker Space and Newton Town Councilwoman Kristi Becker at the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.  For information about the new program, call 973-940-3500.
