The Sixties Show is from New York City and is The Greatest 1960's Musical Recreation Show on Earth! This popular award-winning Off-Broadway Show is a high energy multi- media immersive experience about time traveling back to the 1960's, based around a live note for note re-creation concert. The cast features current and former band members of The Who, The Rascals and John Fogarty (Creedence Clearwater Revival).
This popular Off-Broadway Show is a cross generational crowd pleaser and has been selling out virtually every theater and performing arts center that the show plays at. The Spoonful formed in New York’s Greenwich Village in 1965 at the Night Owl Café and signed to Kama Sutra Records. They appeared on every major TV show of the era: “The Ed Sullivan Show”, “Hullabaloo” and “Shindig!” Their first single, “Do You Believe in Magic,” flew to the top of the charts and was followed by an unprecedented string of hits including: “Daydream,” “Younger Girl,” “Summer in the City,” “You Didn’t Have to Be So Nice,” “Darling Be Home Soon,” “Jug band Music,” “Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind,” “Lovin’ You,” “Didn’t Want to Have to Do it,” “Rain on the Roof,” “Six O’clock,” “Nashville Cats,” “Coconut Grove” and “She’s Still a Mystery (to Me).”

Boating Safety Course on Saturday 05/09/2026 provided by a US Coast Guard and NJ State Police approved Boating Safety/Certification Course provider. All our instructors are USCG and NJ State Police certified.
US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 15-10 Lake Hopatcong is offering the course and exam to obtain your NJ Boating Safety License (NJ BSC) to operate a Power Boat/PWC (Jet Ski) legally on NJ waterways on Saturday May 16th. The course will be delivered at: 
Hopatcong Senior Center, 32 lakeside Blvd Hopatcong, NJ 07843
Course hours are 8am to 5pm with check in at 7:30 am.
The student fee for $75 paid in advance or $80 if paid on the day of the class.
All course material and the final examination is included.
Upon completion of the course and passing the exam, students will receive their NJ BSC, a lifetime Boating Safety Certificate issued by the NJ State Police Marine Services Division

Buckethead is a virtuoso guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who performs within many genres of music. His music spans such diverse areas as progressive metal, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass and avant-garde. When performing in his theatrical persona, Buckethead used to wear a KFC bucket on his head, emblazoned with an orange bumper sticker that reads "FUNERAL" in capital black block letters, and an expressionless plain white costume mask. He has switched to a plain white bucket He also incorporates nunchucks, robot dancing and toy trading into his stage performances. 
Buckethead's persona represents a character that was "raised by chickens" and has made it his "mission in life to alert the world to the ongoing chicken holocaust in fast-food joints around the globe." He has been voted by GuitarOne magazine as one of the "Top 10 Greatest Guitar Shredders of All Time”. As one of the community’s most anticipated annual events, Sparta Day brings together a vibrant vendor and craft fair with a family friendly festival atmosphere, unofficially welcoming warmer weather and kicking off the summer season. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 30, at Station Park from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Vendor spaces are expected to sell out quickly, and JWCS strongly encourages interested vendors to reserve their spots as soon as possible. Early Bird registration and discounted pricing close on March 15. A limited number of sponsorship and advertising opportunities are also available for businesses and organizations looking to connect with the local community.

April 2026 marks the 33rd anniversary of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s remarkable arrival onto the music scene. Since its formation in the early nineties in Ventura, Calif.,the band has toured virtually nonstop, performing on average over 150 shows a year, and has produced a sizable catalog of recorded music, with sales of over two million albums to date. Early on, during their legendary residency at the Derby nightclub in Los Angeles, they reminded the world, in the midst of the grunge era no less, that it was still cool to swing. The band, co-founded by singer Scotty Morris and drummer Kurt Sodergren, was at the forefront of the swing revival of that time, blending a vibrant fusion of the classic American sounds of jazz, swing and Dixieland, with the energy and spirit of contemporary culture.
