Christmas Festival of Lights, all are welcome to join us at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church for our third annual Christmas tree lighting event.
Join us on Friday, December 4, 2026, for the Festival of Lights, featuring more than 20 decorated trees lovingly donated by our congregation. We’ll kick off at 6:00 PM with the Lighting of the Trees and joyful carol singing. Families can enjoy a Live Nativity, s’mores and hot chocolate by the fire pit.
This event is free to everyone who attends. Free-will donations are appreciated and will help support future events. We are taking donations of hats and gloves for the less fortunate, and we will have a tree in our narthex for people to attach them to.
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The congregation exists to welcome people to faith in Jesus Christ; to equip us with the tools to make that faith work in real life; and then send us in service into the world in Jesus’ name. Shepherd of the Hills is a vibrant church which exists to give glory to God in Jesus Christ. We see ourselves as a center of Christian discipleship in the lives of individuals, families and this congregation. We primarily come from Sussex and Morris counties as the body of Christ.
