Drunk Driver Went Wrong Way On Jug Handle: Sparta Police

SPARTA, NJ— Sparta Police arrested a woman they say was drunk after she drove the wrong way on a jug handle, according to a statement.

Kathryn Grieg, 30, was driving the wrong way on the Woodport Road jug handle when she was pulled over early Saturday morning.

She was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, wrong way on a one way street, improper turn, consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, improper backing, and failure to wear a seatbelt.

Grieg was released to a sober adult pending a court date.
