The local Dunkin Donuts was out of caramel, and the customer was not happy, police said.
HOPATCONG, NJ — A Dunkin Donuts trip ended very badly for a Plainfield man after he was arrested for criminal mischief, Hopatcong Police said.
Jacob Francisquini, 18, of Plainfield, tried to order a caramel flavored drink at a local Dunkin Donuts. When the cashier said they were out and offered chocolate instead, Francisquini allegedly flew into a rage and left the store yelling, police said.
Outside the store, Francisquini allegedly picked up another customer's bike and threw it, denting the frame and scraping off the paint.

"We all have bad days. Most people we arrest are because they lost control of their emotions," Hopatcong Capt. Tom Kmetz wrote. "If you can stop yourself for just a little while, breathe and calm down you may not regret something you just did. Especially when that comes to domestic violence."
