Another traffic fatality was reported in what has become a tragic week on New Jersey roads, according to the State Police.
The unidentified man suffered life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle went off Route 23 in Montague on Monday afternoon, police said. His motorcycle struck a sign, police said.
The crash was reported at approximately 3 p.m.

The driver was initially flown to Morristown Medical Center. He subsequently died of those injuries, police said.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, police said. The roadway remained closed for hours.
