Free Architecture and Building Careers Seminar

Free seminar about careers in architectural and building trades will be held at Project Self-Sufficiency.

A free seminar about professions in the fields of architecture and building will be offered to teens and adults on Wednesday, February 24th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. Civil engineer and business owner Harold Pellow will be joined by Maser Consulting Laser Scanning Division Manager Kevin Hanna, and architects and business owners Faith and Hope Zimmerman for a discussion of the background, education and the skills necessary for success in the varied fields involving architecture, building and construction. Questions from the audience will be welcome. “Becoming You: Architecture and Building Careers” will explore vocations like engineer, architect, designer, planner, surveyor and more. The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to call 973-940-3500 or 844-807-3500 to register. Project Self-Sufficiency is located at 127 Mill Street in Newton.
