Free Health Care Careers Seminar

Teens and adults can learn about a wide variety of health care careers at a free seminar.

A free seminar about health care careers will be offered to teens and adults on Wednesday, May 25th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. Sparta Cancer Center Medical Director Kathy Lo will be joined by Sussex County Community College Health Sciences Grant Liaison Theresa Siebert and Faith Community Nurse Beth Batastini for a discussion of the background, education and the skills necessary for success in the health care field. Questions from the audience will be welcome. “Becoming You: Health Care Careers” will explore vocations such as nurse, physician, EKG technician, medical assistant, phlebotomist and other medical professions. The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to call 973-940-3500 or 844-807-3500 to register. Project Self-Sufficiency is located at 127 Mill Street in Newton.
