Free Outdoor Concert in Ridgewood, N.J.
The award-winning, all-female Harmony Celebration Chorus (HCC) of Ridgewood, a local chapter of Sweet Adelines International, will be performing on Tuesday, June 17th at 8:30pm at the Kasschau Band Shell, Memorial Field on Maple Avenue behind the Ridgewood Public Library. The band shell has a large lawn area so bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on and enjoy HCC’s fabulous 4-part harmonies, toe-tapping barbershop style melodies, exquisite ballads and fabulous choreography.
Harmony Celebration Chorus was officially formed in May of 2007 but the core of its ranks was pulled from the now-retired, three-time International Champion Ramapo Valley Chorus. Harmony Celebration Chorus currently has over 60 members ranging in age from mid-20s to mid-80s, all sharing a passion for musical excellence and a love of performing. They sing a diverse repertoire that encompasses many genres of music from classics to Broadway, contemporary to jazz, patriotic to pop– all performed in their signature barbershop style.
